^^ I third this motion.
We're starting to reconstruct it, see here.
If they are putting new coaster styles into the sim with the new update, like a TILT COASTER or RMC perhaps, could that mean we'd get new lift hill sounds to choose from? Also, how about the ability to copy and paste scenery. (Dang, look like I'm too late. Lol)
I'll follow it up with something definitely not as impressive, this RMC I made for my park. I'm thinking Iron Bobcat for the name.

This is the only way I like to build, so I appreciate episode1. I don't like the idea of 'cheating' or taking short cuts with 3rd party programs, but I do understand the high levels of precision you can have with them. Though I have a whole park called "Gangstas' Adventures" that consist of 11 coasters and 11 (or 12) flat rides that I'll be releasing some time in 2018, I have not applied any tips from episode 1 on any of the 11 coasters. Those tips are a little better than the tutorial I saw a few months back, so this will come in handy for my next park.
Here is Pyther's Object Attachment Script.
Basically any links that don't lead to another forum post can be posted here easily.
You can copy the discussion number and replace the archive's discussion number with it to jump from post to post.
This, however, only seems to work with the link posted in the feedback & suggestions thread. This one here always goes to the resource thread.
Good explanation! It's fun to see that there are other users that build their coasters exactly the way I do!
Hey everyone,
In light of the abrupt closure of NL-E, we would like to start amassing all the resource files the community has benefited from over the years.
This thread will be in a state of WIP, if you have any links to tools such as FVD or other valuable resources for the community, link below as we try to continually piece this back together.
We can somewhat access cached pages of NL-E on google but looks to be pretty limited, see here.
Thanks!

We're working on... something like that. Wayback Machine and Google Cache to the rescue, indeed!
^ But Oblivion is a really short ride 8 across, so 16 people per train. Same as Hangtime with 4 cars of 4.
Emonadeo posted on December 26th, 2017considering the immense loss of height
Consider this as an extra height from a standard lift hill and drop combo, rather than a loss of height. Sure you go higher than needed, so you 'waste' some energy, but the following layout is designed from the lower drop.

Since Knott's is right inside LA I'd expect they did this because of capacity reasons.
I wouldn't say that's the right move. Seeing as Oblivion at Alton Towers is capable of 1800pph...
^On the other hand I can image that riding in the last car will be quite fun.

Not a huge fan of the brake section yet. As of right now I really enjoyed B&M Divecoaster drops so I am interested to see how people will react to this considering the immense loss of height due to the long steep holding brake on Hangtime. On the other hand Gerstlauer would be forced to use shorter trains if they went with a short and curved holding brake like on B&Ms. Since Knott's is right inside LA I'd expect they did this because of capacity reasons.
Same here. Part of my "young youthhood" is on there. Some really old and sucky coasters I made around 2011 I'd love to rescue from the garbage truck.
That was... unexpected to say the least. I was really hoping we'd get a proper archive or something, but clearly not. I think Matt has clearly just stopped caring and wanted the site gone, to be honest. Not much to be done now, so it's a totally new beginning.
Idle speculation: I wonder if the *radius change at the top is to allow for the train to clear the brake fins that lead into the holding brake, which presumably stick up higher than the chain, and thus might require a wider radius for the train to clear them. I can't 100% make it out, but there are fins on the vertical section, and fins from the apex down to just before the drop, but it doesn't look like there are any on that tighter radius section.
The 3creativeD effect set should exactly do the job:
