This entire ride is giving me serious 13 vibes, spending months hyping up a ride with a dark theme that ultimately is trash. Merlin seem to have a knack for marketing family rides for the teenage audience that Alton, realistically, doesn't actually have.

Count me in! Just to clarify I do not need to add any kind of scenery for this correct? Just the coaster and supports?
I guess the unbanked turn is to make the ride appear... faster. If the turn was properly banked, it would have been meh. By having a flat turn with laterals, you add a feeling of over-speed.
This site should be useful for looking at past archives. Shame none of us have heard about it until now. I really forgot to check what was happening on the 2017 discussion thread before NLE's shutdown. https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://forum.nolimits-exchange.com/
you probably could have made that in 20 min not even 3D modeling
Same, it will be the worst comeback you could ask for though
And it looks amazing! Maybe try a whippy overbank dive to the right after that
I'll probably enter. May or may not be able to actually finish an entry though, depending on work.
^ That skybot is mental however id recommend that you acquire your self VUE xSTEAM from a legal public download source xD no but this software is really good for skyboxs and is very easy to use here is a example of a skybox i made.
I see the frozen pictures and I'm blown away by the details, it looks stunning...
...Then I realize it's made entirely out of nodes, and I can't help but cringe at the amount of time it must've taken to do all of that.
Sounds like a lot of fun, count me in.
jheez, why out of supports!?

why give it a dark/horror theme if you're trying to appeal to kids.
Maybe if it had a segment loosely inspired by Willy Wonka's boat ride or 2001's Stargate.

The completely unbanked turn doesn't give me much hope that the ride will be travelling very fast.
We all know SW8 was meant to be a family coaster but why give it a dark/horror theme if you're trying to appeal to kids. If anything it just leads to more hype being built up and people being disappointed with it in the end.
I agree with this man - it doesn't make any sense. That said it's looking more attractive as a coaster with all of the tunnels and overbuilt pieces. It could turn out cool....it....could...
Since it has not popped up here yet, here is a place to post about FVD designs and ask questions.
Here's a thing I did

I rolled a twisted airtime hill up the wrong way while messing around and ended up with this oddity

Really like the landscaping and coasterst! It would be nice if you could add a few more flat rides in the areas between the coasters.
"why do my parks lag?"
Gonna make a Wicker Man clone
I've been working on NL recreations for a documentary and have been wanting a slight break from that so this sounds like a good contest to enter. Why not count me in!
