Interesting idea. I will think about it. Maybe the terrain is to hilly for the airplanes to start.

that's a really cool idea! My only complaint would be that it snaps into and out of the heartline rolls a little awkwardly.
Track isn't sectioned off properly yet, but here's the start of a launched, sorta spaghet bowl'd RMC
^ Woah how did I not know about this project? Looks like a pretty solid coaster.
Finally updated my NL and got the rock walls:

Dragonfire, Doha Oasis, Premier Rides Launched Coaster

The steel struts are taking pretty much all the load in compression that arrangement. The concrete part connecting to the building isn't really doing much other than providing stability against the struts failing in lateral-torsional buckling, although the reinforcement will take a little tension.
^ All of your faces are being turned into triangles when rendered anyway, so having fewer faces won't improve performance. I would just use n-gons wherever it makes sense in the modelling program, either because it's easier to model with or because you're applying certain modifiers and getting unwanted results with individual triangles.
Cool, thanks guys. Tried both suggestions, and they both worked equally well.
I'm usually a bit hesitant when it comes to adding faces to something that already has a fair few faces in it, but that worked.
I love the element lineup on that. Air hill -> Immelmann -> high-G flat, groundhugging turn -> Zero G. Plus the headchoppers? Great stuff.
B&M doesn't design their foundations. Those steel kickback struts from the base of the footing are interesting to say the least. I would guess that the foundation engineer is relying on the concrete cantilever to do most of the work, but has the kickers to reduce the deflection. A little jog in the column could have solved the problem just as easily.
^Airshow, maybe?
Finished supporting my Gerstlauer megacoaster. Any ideas for themening?

Welcome! To try to answer a couple of your questions:
There's a camera settings feature you can bring up in the simulator, but I forget it you need to go into the "Setup" tab to do it or if you can do it in "Play" mode, I'll have to check when I get a chance.
As for Arrow shaping, your best bet would probably be to use the built-in formulas for corkscrews, turns, etc. That should give you perfectly circular elements.
^^ in edit mode, press U and then "Project from view" (your faces must be selected, exactly like in your screenshot ). It's not always a good method because the perspective can be deformed, but it can be useful on geometric objects.
Long time, no post:
Calamity Falls, by me (WIP)

^ those are just the foundation piles, noting weird, just weird they are above groundlevel
Yo that looks sick! I love the look of rides in that style that have self-dueling straight sections. :D
That blue track is GORGEOUS

^ I know the GP can be dumb sometimes but I think you would have to be high to mistake a 100 foot-tall coaster with inversions for a kiddie coaster.
Well you'd think so, but people look at rides and ask if it goes upside down anyway...
