Hi.
I was in Phantasialand today and took a few photos and 50 gigabyte video material (including slowmotion)
It might take a while for the videos (have to run a censor software to blur out some faces, that are to clear)

A.I.R : Vertical Launched Flying Coaster?

Hello, I liked to share this! a friend of mine has made this Nolimits 2 Control pannel for me a long time ago. it works quite simply the "dispatch" buttons are for the trains to run and there are switches on the control panel for the gates and Harness, top left is a power key to activate the control pannel and right above a realistic emergency stop. (the logo on it is for my project De Vliegende Hollander Efteling)

Will this require knolage of scripting? The post about transfer tracks made me think you want it to go backwards, and I don’t know how to script that!
say bye bye to your knees xD
This ride.
Wud u like to place a new guess ?
Can you stop being so serious about a game? Please!
That's a looong lift for not much payoff lol. I like the standard alpine coaster design with slalom turns the whole time a lot better. I can appreciate that hills are different for this type of coaster, but at the same time alpine coasters usually do something unique and interesting with their ground level turns. This is just the same as a normal roller coaster, but not as good.

For the first time we are including a track length limit. I wonder why?

No you don’t you cheeky li'l....
I also assume by "limit" you mean 'less than (x length)' as opposed to "minimum" which would mean 'greater than (x length)', People don’t always mean it that way though, and if that’s the case then I don’t know what we’ll do 😱
Do you know where you will upload the finished submission? Remember, before submitting, you have to:
- Save your park
- Rename the park file so it includes your name
- Upload it to an file transfer or exchange site (NoLimits Central, Coaster Crazy, Steam Workshop, dropbox, Google drive, etc)
- Fill out a form with the URL to download your submission
Remember to make the file public so it can be downloaded. If we can't download it, we can't evaluate your work!

Welcome to Chase's Construction + Help Thread
Spectrum

Getting on the Spectrum
I really enjoyed making this project come to life so I thought I'd document a little of it here. I first started working on Spectrum around a year and a half ago to test the idea of one ride consisting of two separate layout styles. The first half is a spaghetti bowl and the second half is an out-and-back. The idea that made me stick with the project was separating it with tunnels. This is what it looked like from my first crude idea in MS paint to the finished product:

Oh God I Have to Learn
Of course this idea posed a challenge because I would have to teach myself how to model properly. I decided to use Sketchup because I had some experience with it already and, in a process that would make SecretImbecile cry, I slowly progressed on the base model. I worked in 3 major parts, as seen in the muddled illustration above. It was a gigantic, hideous mess that I restarted three times. I provided a 3/4 view of the bottom so you can understand what I mean by this. It nearly killed me. I've decided to learn blender for next time.

There's a Famous Song About This Part
Of course learning is an ugly process sometimes, but I had some outside help. Marvin helped me with all things Mack-related because he is really good at those details. We worked together on shaping, supports, and more minute details like track connectors and "thicc-spline" as he called it. He also pointed out some cool details that most people would skip, like the thicc-spine track connectors and some sensors, which I later modeled.

Bryce was also a paramount piece of this project. He taught me how to do everything from creating interesting shapes in a model, to texturing it, and coordinating my textures with NLmats. I didn't let him touch the models though, because he does work for too many people in this community (#FreeBryce). I'm a very slow learner and I need help very often so Bryce's patience and knowledge are greatly appreciated.

Wrap Up
I'm very glad you all got to look at my chaotic creative process! Sorry this went on a little long. Based on the feedback from the video, I'll be putting up some written tutorials/pointers for cinematography in NL2 soon. I'm going to release this soon along with full POVs so hang tight. As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts (positive or negative) on this because I've put tons of time into it. Thanks for reading!
wow

Apologies for the camera jerk. My screen saver was set to 3 minutes during filming.
Thanks for putting Navigator as number 1! I haven’t been first in a Roundup since 2016 with Mission Vertigo - I think I’ve improved a lot since then!
I recall we did some sharing on Twitter to help promote your efforts. FWIW, I put you in the hopper for this week, and you ended up 11th, just outside the cut. Strong week. We maintain a list of overflow coasters from weeks we have too many good coasters so we can dip into them on weeks we don't have enough high quality. You're on that list now.
I have ridden the highest coasters
I have run through the queues
Only to ride with you
Only to ride with you
231 I have waited
I have scaled these station steps
These station steps
Only to ride with you
But I still haven't Roundup
What I'm looking for
Roundups are all about your creations. You make things and we show them off, it's that simple!
We are over halfway to Roundup 250! Start your mega projects now!
