EDIT:
This fixed the track spacing issue thank you! Fixed the scaling issue, ran the rescale utility in max to 0.01 and all is good
Plz try to edit properly. This is very annoying.

Hi, when importing to max using the Mack Track style, it seems to be missing out sections, any idea what im doing wrong? Also i have max units set to meters and its importing the spline 1000x smaller
Thanks!
Hi, it appears that you forgot to set the distance of points to 0.1m on the CSV export in NL.
As for the scaling issue, I suspect you need to make sure the display unit scale and the system unit scale is set to the same value in 3ds max:

Thanks ill try this! The scaling yeah I've got both Display and system units set to meters
When i do need to make trenches like in your image.
Here its how i make it work :
Use a 2nd coaster type 4D (is the widest from them all and has the widest tunnel)
Set that part of the coaster track invisible !! (but it shows the empty space in your ground)
Make a trench like u made and u can make it a lot wider, so it will allways fit your your (smaller) trains.

Well hey, here I am doing a dirty (2+ year old) bump but it's my own post and I was about to post again with the nearly identical question lol.
My question is less so about how to, I'm very confident in my modeling ability, I guess my question is about the little technicalities of No Limits ground scenery.
Here's something I'm currently working on. It's a coaster I made 11+ years ago in No Limits 1, but I remade it in NL2 with the use of FVD++. I want trenches integrated into the ground itself, not in concrete patches of flat terrain like I did with previous projects.
My question is, in this case is the typical approach to entirely model the terrain in a 3D modeling program and ignore the in-game terrain tools? Do you use the virtual tunnel in-game and use the hole in the terrain that creates? Do you only model fake terrain around where you want the trenches and just hide the edges of the model with other scenery/into the ground?
Like I said, I don't need help with the modeling and importing, I'm just curious what the typical approach is.
EDIT: okay, it appears I still don't know how to link images. I haven't used forums since I was active in RCTLounge back in 2009 so it's been awhile, my appologies. Here's the link https://imgur.com/a/S3HaBgV
Hint #2 : Added
Hello
I am looking for a place to download FVD++ and to learn how to use it.
Thank you

@MrRC so I have to keep changing my model in blender until I have the right height?
And the outside is the same as the original in your park.

Is that for the custom station or the gates?
For the station
Is that for the custom station or the gates?
Leave your station as normal , freeze coaster. Adjust your custom station so it looks same as the station in your park. Then make it invisible with the option [HIDE ALL] in your station block.
I want to make a custom station with custom gates, and I do know how to model it in blender and import it into NL2, but I can't start yet because I don't know which sizes I need to use. So how do I know how long my station is, and how wide the track is etc. And how do I use the custom gates?
