We have our 5 finalists and 2 of the 3 judges have scored them. One judge has fallen ill with the flu or a bad cold, which is delaying final results. Thank you for your patience.

Create the rules, template, etc. and send it to one of the mods for approval.
I have seen the seaside screamer contest, and thought I might be able to do a contest like that, but haven’t seen any documentation on how to start one. Can anyone help?
Edit: I am also not very good at mapmaking, so would that hinder my efforts?
My topic for where I will post various creations! Starting with Hidden Edge, a B&M invert in a forest
Yass correct :)
^ And it works or not? If the error persists, maybe consider posting the detailed error message in the Blender Thread. Actually nothing special except for the installer or zip should be required unless there's something strange happening with your Windows installation.
rcjunkie4life see 2nd YT video, explains it all.
Downloaded the zip, Im on windows 7 64bit
Hey. So I'm pretty new with all of this. So, can someone walk me through step-by-step on how to get this and download it? Thanks guys!
This set is so amazing! Finally scripts for simple movements! Great, great, GREAT JOB BESTDANI! Thank you for your effort to make this for us!

Made these with the scripts
^^ Just my two cents: I downloaded the zip file from the Blender site, and i've never had any problems with it.
Did you d'load the zip, alee298, or did you d'load the installer file?

if i remember correctly, you just need to set the acceleration to a low number like: 0.1 or 0.01.
Yes, when you tires, the friction isnt stong enough to carry the train up the track. But Chains dosnt have friction or have infinite friction.
So the chain instead accelerate in a slow way.

Important is, that the Station is around 10 meters behind a block segment.
Its like 90% accurate and the best result without scripting.
^ What version of Windows are you running? Sounds like you might be missing a runtime dependency, if you have Steam you can find Blender on there and it should grab install everything for you.
Ah that's super good. Reinstalling .77 the roll, pitch, and yaw works, buuutt has has somehow messed up most of the transitions of the coaster --- it's not even been touched, I just opened it, the force values are still the same --- that means doing it over again. In .79 still in its original form --- thank God, almost lost my mind with this damn thing --- but roll, pitch, and yaw doesn't cooperate still. I just want to know what's going on?
Okay, so FVD in general with the pitch, roll and yaw won't cooperate again for me. Everything is in the folder, and thought getting 'OpenFVD-Master' would change, no it didn't fix the problem. What should I do? My patience is merely gone at the moment, I feel it's just me having problems. .-. :/
why not export at .5? .4 would still be less than what fvd uses so you still might have issues

blender would run smoothly on my PC I could give it a shot.
Are you sure you tried the normal stable release? It even runs at a usable speed for small things on my raspberry pi 3.
Yeah I tried it, loads up a windows command centre box then crashes saying Im missing a .dll file of some sort. I installed it using the download on their site so Im not sure what the problem is...
I always wanted to know how this ride mechanically function. Does anyone know how the switch works?
