So raise your hands when you float up
Against the lap bar
All my airtime hills
We will always be Rounduping, anything that's good
And fancy coaster music videos
Won't you come on and watch now and raise your hands
You create it, you share it, we feature it!

NLCSV doesn't respond when I open it. Is there an alternative way to turn the light pattern file into a CSV file with other programs?
Unfortunately, not without the Pro license (which, if you have it, surely makes a much better job than this workaround). I haven't found any other program that does that, and yes, it's a bit of an old program, so it's a bit quirky.
However, you're not the first to tell me they're having issues with that program, so even though I didn't code it or even know who coded it, I can try to check the algorithm it uses to calculate the spline it writes into the csv and port the program to a different programming language that runs better, but it'd take time, so I have no idea when I'd be able to do it.
In the meantime, I can tell you what I do to run it, maybe it also works for you.
First, I'm running it with Java 13. If you're running an older version it might be the case that it's too old to run this program. I'm not sure which is the minimum version it can run on. If you don't know what version you're using, check this: https://www.java.com/en/download/help/version_manual.html
Second, I sometimes have issues running it if I just double-click the jar file, but if I run it from the command line, it works just fine. If you don't know how to run it from the command line, the easiest way is this:
- In the folder where you have the NLCSV.jar file, on the bar at the top of the window where it says which folder you're in (something like "This PC > Windows (C:) > NL2 > Programs" or "Documents > com.nolimitscoaster.nolimits2" for example) click (normal left click) at the right of all the text, where there's nothing, and the bar should change to a text input.
- Copy and paste this into that text input, replacing everything that was in there.
java -jar NLCSV.jar - Hit enter and the program should open.
(Note that you have to do all steps in one go because clicking out of the text input makes it go back to how it was before.)
I hope you can make it work with that.
Otherwise, feel free to answer back ^^

- These are hosted on intim305's YouTube channel. Information about the next contest is at the end of each video and in the description.
- Unless it is a Mega Round Up (some multiple of 50), if you simply post a video on YouTube, if they see it and like it, they'll include it in the round up for that week.
- Soon, probably (who knows)
By the way, I'd highly suggest joining the Official Discord server pinned in this forum to know everything going on! (it's far more active there!)
Ok cool :

Hint #1 : Build on a HUGE island and NO continent attached to it.
