ROLL HANDLING PROBLEM

Hello dear no limits central community,

I am facing an issue in fvd++. Probably I am not first to tackle this problem but I couldn't find an immediate post about it - so please forgive me if I am not the first person to ask.

Problem: I find it hard to stop the rolling of track, especially if I want to transfer to a straight section. I usually try to use the quartic function but figured that this is limiting and describes more the intamin intimidator305 style, while the quintic function gives me room for much more flexibility, in the style of the modern vekomas. But once I want to force the track to be perfectly leveled out for x time, I fail to get it under control. I saw that a particular version of fvd++ has a "roll to zero“ function that would probably solve all my problems. But I am using the program on my m1 air and couldn't find the version with that function included. Does anyone has an idea of how to fix that handling issue?

Attached some pictures of the issue.

Thanks so much in advance!

Telemtry or API to move train forward
Scripting

Hi, I'm new to NL2 but quickly finding it addictive. I'm looking into how I can get the train position to match a model I'm building which has sensors on it. On the NL2 control panel (pressed F4) I can manually move the train backwards and forwards which is great, but from what I can see (and I'm no developer) I can't see this command available via the Telemetry Messages or in the API so I can control it with Python. Please can someone tell me if this is possible and if so, where it is ?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Can I finish a project? Changa's Thread
NoLimits Coaster

My new job and failed contest attempts have gotten in the way of these, but I'm back!

I lost a lot of motivation with the Space Train after trying a few layouts and achieving nothing but inefficient boredom. So I can't say I'm too interested in continuing that for now.

Instead, i've finally gotten around to:

2) The Archers - Further Support work

I have finished the remaining odd stragglers throughout the main layout, leaving only the most daunting task for last... the main archway! I've been sketching ideas for this to try and figure out a neat solution, but it only served to waste time after the 3rd set of identical trusses. So I just bodged a basic shape together and filled the details in until I got this basic shape!

Other than being the wonkiest archway ever seen from above, It offers maybe 1cm of extra clearance for the silver track while having more than enough space to support both lift loops, and have enough space for a service catwalk up to the top of the arch. For clearance (and coolness!)'s sake, this catwalk is in a "collapsed state" and would unfold when E-stopped to a full scale catwalk by lowering down on it's support chains!

This still needs a lot of refinement and connecting up to the tracks, but at least the hardest part is done!
