Should be compatible with any of the main consumer headsets currently out (Oculus, Valve Index, WMR). I have an HP Reverb G2 which I've used with NL2, tho IDK how to change the FOV, as it seems to be locked in place when I try it in VR (it looks kinda narrow).

Great thread! This is a fantastic primer for ideas and inspiration for video making, and will hopefully help folks understand what works well for the Mega Roundups. Remember, Roundup 400 is just 7 weeks away!

How can I download the editable file(s) for this or other coasters I want to play with and try to add/modify things? This is my first time on the forum and I'm a newbie to NoLimits2. Thanks : )
Download it from a exchange / forum. Extract the downloaded packagefile. (in the Editor) I hope for u its password free.

Hi guys, I would like to know which version of NoLimits2 is compatible with VR headsets? And also, what headset is compatible with NoLimits2?

Lemme hop into this thread with my personal favorite video. Kunzite... this is a super cinematic video
I continue to come back to this video something about it. I don't know like an Ex you tend to get caught up on it, someone you keep going back to but you just don't know why. This video is a pure cinematic masterpiece. The beautiful shots, the coaster, music, and most importantly the Editing. I spent a long time on this and really love how it came out. I watched it over and over and over again and it gets better each time. The way the camera switches from each side of the train or how the slow motion parts line up with the slower part of the song, the lighting, and most importantly the POV, the way the frame opens up to show the full shot really just blows me away. How could someone like me make something so Good!? This video in my opinion is my best work yet. I still have not been able to top this true masterpiece!
You can send it here: [email protected]
No, the coaster style shouldn't matter at all. By the way, I'd say you kinda broke a NLC rule the last time (double posting). Not that I care at all, but you might be told off in the future for that. It's said it's better to edit the previous post rather than posting two in a row.
Yup, I put down a little trail of footers for the queue and made sure that the clearances of the coaster didn't get too close (so no high fiving people on the coaster, sadly ;) ). Also thanks for the compliment! Lotta work was put into that thing :)
Sorry for my absence, how can I send you the park file? Does the coaster type matter as well?
Not always true, it's not part of every daily check for all coasters. For some, yes, that might be.
I'll concede that not every coaster performs this full level of block check every morning. I'm going off experience working at SFMM. However, during the initial break in testing of a new ride, every worst case scenario imaginable was tested at least once to ensure everything is working correctly as designed. So it's still a valid test to perform to make sure that trains stopped at any block brake for any reason can resume and continue the layout on their own.
What's with launches like the 2nd one on Taron? How should such type of launch (mid-ride) perform in an E-Stop test? Should it be able to launch the train from a standstill after manually moving it to the beginning on the launch section? The realistic procedure like on Taron can't be done in NoLimits 2 (Launch the train backwards and then full power forwards).
This is why the last bullet point exists: Complete true to life restarts aren't always possible due to the uniqueness of how some modern ride systems are programmed these days. On a ride like Taron, such a restart procedure has been programmed into the ride's functionality. Faced with such a design during judging, where a second launch is clearly meant to boost the speed more but not be a full restore point, concessions would be allowed in judging. This is especially true when dealing with custom scripting as there is no ready way to resume that moment in the script via manual control of the coaster. So in that case, if the coaster stopped safely without crashing, we'd reset the ride and go from there. The coaster does have to stop safely without crashing or violating block boundaries.

I've just realized that I don't think I've put this up on here yet. Here it is:
WOW just picked up my dropped jaw from the floor. Is there enough space left for a queu and exit ?
I'm a bit late, but I'd just like to wish everyone a happy National Roller Coaster Day.

Hi I’m a bit new to FVD and I am watching a tutorial that tells you to use the transition editor. I do not know what to do to access it and all the information I found has not helped. I know you have to click on a certain part of the graph but I’m quite lost as nothing I click accesses the transition editor. If someone has some helpful tips I’d appreciate it.
Hint #3 : Added
Sorry, I couldn't find any recreations on the exchange or on Steam. There is however, an RCT3 recreation that I turned up: https://rctgo.com/downloads/view/raging-bull.4871
can somebody give me a raging bull download
