I used the 'triggered video' script for this. I made an animation of the ship approaching you and converted it to an OGV file I applied this as material in the script and set the texture (ogv file) to transparent

Phase 4 would be very welcome. But it has now been 4 years since phase 3 was put online. I don't think we should ever expect a phase 4. Phase 3 is still very good and even in this day and age it still holds up just fine. By far one of the most beautiful projects ever realized in Nolimits. What I especially miss is the lighting when it gets dark outside. In one of the previous posts, Andre mentioned that he was working on this. Sadly, these details were left behind in Phase 4, which will likely never reappear.

Shooting Star at Lakeside Park was apparently the tallest roller coaster in the world when it opened in 1968. This John Allen-designed PTC out-and-back operated until the 1986 season. It closed after a 1985 flood and after a worker was killed by one of the coaster's trains during testing in 1986. It was sold to a park in North Carolina, but it was never rebuilt and eventually scrapped.

Next, I plan to make Jack Rabbit at Clementon Park in New Jersey.
