Create Control Panel
General

Hello, everyone,

I would like to build a control panel but don't know how I need it. Could anyone tell me what else I need apart from: Illuminated pushbuttons, USB controllers, selector buttons and key switches.

If possible, also write me instructions so that I know how I have to build it together and what kind of script do I need and how do I insert it?

What cables do I need?

I'm looking forward to your reply

Hello there!
I'm trying to conduct a table with as many modifications as possible stored in one place, and i think it is somewhat ready to be shared.
If anything is missing, feel free to DM me on Discord (Joshua | kepler#4205) or in the forum.

Confused by the g-force comb's results
NoLimits Coaster

Building this out in the sim yields quite different results. 1.7 vert g's and 0.7 lateral. Not sure what math you've done, but this seems to be quite the dynamics problem. Haven't played with that math for a minute, so I'll just go with what the sim spat out for now.

The speed comb is usually pretty good, except at very low speeds, and the g-force comb is often unreliable. The g-force comb can't capture the length of the train in it's current state, so even if the force prediction was better, it still wouldn't give a full enough picture for most roller coasters.

Building Textures

Thanks Womp83. That's a start. I will wait to see if anybody else can give me more details. I will probably mess around with a NL2mat file to see if I can figure it out. In the meantime I will model some buildings, as modeling is something I need to improve the most.

It certainly does have that capability for custom models. It's been a while now since i've used NL2, so i can't remember exactly the process for doing that. Apologies. But i recall you have to do it using a custom NL2mat on your model, and it's somewhere in the settings for the material, where you apply bump maps for that specific texture and such.
Someone else on here should be able to give you the details i've missed.
