NoLimits 2 Weekly YouTube Roundups - Week 654
NoLimits Coaster

Six-six-six, six-six-six-six, flags
Uh, oh oh

I was down at the new coaster park
Staring at this yellow-railed ride
Mr. Six strikes up a conversation
With his black-rimmed plastic glasses

You know he dances in his tuxedo
Bizarre he's comically beautiful
And we all want something beautiful
Man I wish I was beautiful

So come dance this coaster
Song through the morning
Six-six-six, six-six-six-six-six, flags
Uh-huh, yeah

Roundup 452

You create it, you share it, we feature it!

National Park Contest Update
————————
New Deadline: Entries will now be due on October 29 at 23:59/11:59pm PST - this is a 2 week deadline extension.

Rules Clarification: Each entry will be imported into a blank template to check clearances, boundaries and footers during judging. This means that modifying the template in your submission will not help with deductions. For a footer to be “fully on the grassy area”, it must be surrounded by the 3D grass mesh.

Footer Restrictions Update: We have also decided to revise the “no footers on rocks/water areas“ restriction. Instead of losing 5pts for each footer violation, entries can lose a maximum of 10pts for all footer violations combined. Less significant footer violations (for example, if a footer edge is slightly outside the grass mesh) will result in less points lost.

New Award: Every entry without deductions will receive a “By The Rules” Award (5pt bonus). We want to reward everyone who’s gone the extra mile to follow these crazy restrictions.

We’re hoping for plenty of awesome submissions so we can show them off in a results video! Good luck, and we can’t wait to see your entries!!

Raptoralex's defunct coasters
NoLimits Coaster

I've finished the challenging Comet at Lincoln Park in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. It operated from 1946 to 1987 and was designed by Edward Leis and Vernon Keenan. Keenan also designed the Coney Island Cyclone; you can see similarities in the two designs. Comet closed with the park but remained standing until 2012. The land is now a residential neighborhood.

My next recreation will be the original Ravine Flyer at Waldameer -- if I can find the necessary information. I've found very little doing preliminary researching. If not, perhaps Whirlwind Dipper at Pacific Park.
