CenterOf Rails are you sure the roll rate of change value is 0? This is the value in brackets to the right of what your current value for roll is. I'm sure there's a more elegant solution but I usually add a small cubic function to get that value back to 0 and then you can try and make sure the actual value is as close to 0 as possible. Hope this helps

I bet Best Dani's custom block script could make that happen easy enough.

Nah, not possible. The train needs to exit the tilt track the same way it came in. In NL2, the train can only exit the tilt track on the other end.

Yes its possible with MusicKid43's script generator and some manual tweaking in the script.

Could you show me how it's possible? I can't see any way the trains could leave facing backwards after coming in forwards or vice versa.

Frank's Guide to Force Vector Design :: Geo Sections Video Up Now!
General

Glad to hear! And good luck picking up FVD.
I have had some ideas, maybe a different approach to the instruction would be beneficial to get out there, perhaps a speed-build from time-to-time or a long-form vid where I just say what I'm thinking as I build. Maybe one of those ideas would be entertaining. I think I put out decent info in my first set of tutorials, but it was kinda dry and boring if I'm to self critique. I also made them when I was between graduating uni and starting work, so free-time for this stuff is harder to come by. So maybe not to the same degree, but something soon!

Can anyone help me? I made a run of air time hills coming out of a turn section and the hills don't stay straight after returning the track to as close to zero as possible. The hills start to wander off and I cannot figure out how to fix it!

After a turn I returned the track to as close to zero as possible and set the roll to dynamic and starting making air time hills with normal forces like I've done a thousand times before; except this time by the time I got to the end and added a straight section of track for a brake run, the brake run was tilted and I noticed the entire line of airtime hills had wandered off course from my zero point.

I am fairly new to the program but have followed all the tutorials on basic coaster construction on YouTube. I know I'm probably missing something very obvious.

New to this do you need the standard or pro
General

See that you can download some tracks that other people made. Bought the standard one from steam and use it in VR on my motion sim. Question is do you need the pro to upload tracks to steam no limit 2 or the pro . At either price it is a super great game. Thanks John

Coastin' Dave, after the Space Mountain car was released, can you make Arrow's first-gen corkscrew/looper train?

Honestly I don't think thinner OTSRs is really worth a brand new custom train, unless some massive functionality upgrades were implemented.

If he wants it though I'll do it for a commission - all I'm saying. I have a few cars I'm still working out that will be free, but no matter if you find it useful, if it means that much to him and we can work out a price I can do it. The old school arrow corkscrew train is fairly similar in geometry to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster so I'm quite familiar with that train shape. I have some references on the sizing of the train so it's do-able - plus it's not just the restraints that are different: the front of the shell of the middle cars is more squared off and the headrests have a different design and feel to them than the more modern trains.
