That Maverick at Cedar Point is blah at best.

I think you should do the best of both worlds: maybe recreate the real ride you're using as inspiration but then when you do your variation add a new spin on it. I don't think a single-file version of the Nebula is really that much of an innovation: maybe make the seats invert or add some other weird element to it to make it crazier?
Not a bad concept and your model and animation definitely look good so keep at it!
I second that idea of making the seats rotate. Would be neat if you can make that work. Good work with it so far.
You have pics of the other three original flat rides?
Hint #3 added
Thank you all for your comments =)

.. but sometimes people do want a replica of the real thing rather than someone's analog of such.
Okay =) Thank you!

I want to use this in my Japanese parks.
I am sure, you will! :D

I like the idea of a original ride (as it is in real life) and a more "no limits" approach =) At the moment there are 5 flatrides, 3 of them are originals but i´ll look further into them to make them even more like the real life ones. Thank you very much!

I feel like not being able to get those real-life rides is kind of defeating the purpose of what you're aiming for. Nice concept, don't get me wrong, but sometimes people do want a replica of the real thing rather than someone's analog of such.
Moah
We need all sometimes moah.
Sometimes we get moah.
Work in progress
I am working on something here and i don´t know when and how much of it will be ready to release. At least i am planing a "set of rides", which i want really hard to see in my (and maybe) your parks!?
I will update this thread if i have something to update.
Comments are welcome, but keep in mind that this is NOT a recreation thread of real rides.
Let´s simply say, i started my own company which steals ideas from other manufacturers and build them just to sell them and making some moah money.
After reaching the goal, i will start to make my own ride-ideas, because .. well.. it´s NO LIMITS in which we trust!
The rides will not be controllable in play mode but you can tweak them per script values very easy. Examples will be shown, soon.
All models will be optimized for big parks with a lot of coaster and scenery. I just don´t know yet, how much w(oO)rk i will put into texturing, the rides should be seen more as a background scene (something which is moving, not static). There will be also rides just rotating, if a script would hit a certain line.
If this all is something you need, want to see or would use in your park,.. let me know.
I just want to have fun with Blender and No Limits 2, without any preassure!
..happy riding!
p.s.: hÜmor is also welcome

Good luck.

Did u see the specs for the Flip Flap Railway ?? G-force = 12 ........

Finished with my layout
Coaster couldn't make it round the line
People think I'm insane
Because I watch Roundups all the time
You create it, you share it, we feature it!

The primary differences between Standard and Professional have to do with media capture. Pro allows for much higher resolution video capture without a water mark, 360 degree equirectangular video capture, poster size screen shots, import/export of spline data, and is necessary if you plan to create monetized content. Other than that, both versions offer the same real time simulation capabilities and track sharing options.

what is the status of the wildmouse trains?
I have to put that on hold for just a bit - hopefully I'll have an update soon.
I'm using the Space Mountain train to better optimize my custom trains and that one is having a few issues that still need to be figured out. It's getting there, slowly but surely.

My next recreation will be Flip Flap Railway at Paul Boyton's Sea Lion Park. It was the first looping coaster in North America.

Someone already has made Whirlwind Dipper, so I made Red Streaker. Red Streaker operated at Willow Mill Park in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, from 1937 to 1989. The ride closed with the park and was dismantled in 1994. A train and parts of the coaster are in storage.

Hey!
Well, so aside from tweaking the hydraulic brakes' sounds parameters, as MrRC suggested, I have actually done quite little on the project lately. I have gathered a few more reference videos to check the stacking issues and I've been doing a couple of small 3D modelling thingies which can count as very slowly learning 3D modelling, but sadly nothing significant. I truly (and sadly) haven't had much time to do stuff on NL2 since I posted this, but the project is not cancelled at all. ;) I still want to get it to a point where it is both more stable and less terribly looking, I just don't know when that will be. ^^'
In any case, thank you all for your interest and encouragement up until this point!
I just wish I had more time to bring this to life faster and be able to give you more news than this, :) but for now, this is it.
P.S.: I didn't mention it, but no, in this time nobody has contacted me to offer 3D modelling help, which is one of the points that is pushing me back on this the most, so while nobody like that shows up, everything stated above will be true. If someone comes and offers help on that, things will of course go much faster ;)
