I'm guessing it is after the ride closed as well. The train derails on the last curve, which suggests they were taking it apart. Also, that fire couldn't have been good for the track and structure.

Yeah I would have thought so too, but the video title says "Showa 48" which basically means 1973 -- long before the ride's 1997 closing year!

I've ridden the Tower Shot ride at Pattaya Park in Thailand. It was fun and intense, Giving strong ejector airtime at the top.

I've asked the park manager about this ride, He said they designed for an ejector airtime experience which you are allowing to float over your seat.

The main restraint is the safety belt not the OTSR, one wrap around your waist and another one connected to the OTSR. The belt is making of the safety harness strap which is strong enough to hold my body.

p.s. It doesn't weight before launching like an S&S, So Low rider = faster launch = more strong ejector airtime

I love how they got a rig for on-ride cameras. Also props to them for designing such a ride in-house.
Thanks for the infos Slalom! That picture is awesome!

When I opened my mind and waiting to ride the no-name Chinese drop tower, ones of cable snapped and the ride closed in front of me.
