The "What Did You Just Do In NoLimits" Thread

Oh a Spinning Coaster? These are such a rare treasure in NL2. In fact a NL1 recreation of Winja's @ Phantasialand was what got me into NL in the first place. I really adore the corkyness of these things. Maurer's Spinning Coasters will always have a special place in my heart. So underrated.

I really like that layout a lot, Tim! It actually got me thinking about a spinning layout I attempted and never finished.

I had a few ideas of what I wanted to do with this ride. I had a 70s disco theme in mind, it was going to be great. I just lost interest in it, though, and I think THIS was one of the main reasons:

I just got so frustrated with trying to pull off the spine on this noninverted loop. I could have just used the XCar spine (which if I ever come back to it I might end up doing), but I just didn't want to deal with the rails looking off when it transitioned between the two rail types. I tried my best.

^Are you planning on making this coaster infinitely long?
He tried that. His computer said no, and crashed.
I really want to see a program made that auto-generates a jet coaster with the correct transitions and does not collide with itself. Then we could unleash the true power of the dark side...
^^^Wonder if Jetcoasterfan has ever thought of joining the NL2dev team. That way he wouldn't have to bug the devs about making it powerful enough to need to run on a quantum computer so he can make a 1000 mile long jetcoaster
I would love to do that. I could test and try to push the current build to the limit with this

Or my 26 mile long "I'm Sorry" jet coaster!

Started to work on the supports. What do you think of these y-supports?
Also, I promise that this will be the last post of my project in the WDYJD thread (unless there's a question). I'll start a new thread specifically for these so that I won't annoy people too much.
You would be better off making the support an X shape. It would be stronger.
Yeah, two thicker vertical beams with X shaped cross bracing should do the trick and look nice.

I changed the name and color scheme of my Kingpin coaster to Aces Flyin'.
I found this REALLY bizarre funfair very old No Limits 1 coaster called Hellbender. Wishmaster made it. It is on Coastercracy from 2009.
Just look at the layout and elements! I am currently reworking it with new supports, new base grid and a sized down layout using the coaster saved as a custom element.

Can you please make that a funfair coaster and use a grid underneath the coaster like in funfairs?

How many negative Gs are there on the bottom of the first drop?

I bet the Beast's designers wish they could have done that.
