I likes this one alot....quite realistic in all aspects....definitely something that could be constructed in real life. It woulf fit right in at a park like Islands of Adventure, speaking of which I like the way mechanically the launch is very similar to Incredible Hulk.....which is a good thing! Overall very nice job.
Kilauea- B&M Sitdown

Please Read
Kilauea began nearly 3 years ago as a concept after riding the Incredible Hulk Coaster at Islands of Adventure. I wanted to create something with the same launch and roll that IHC had.I began drawing up several ideas of layouts and decided a mix between IHC and Dragon Khan. Halfway through the trackwork I scrapped the original theming which was basically a gamma radiation facility (similar to IHC), and decided a Tiki/Polynesian style. The original plan was to have this as a center island and create a park around it with rides of several amazing NL2 creators such as Kyle Sloane and Dapalm titled Discovery Point. Due to performance, I decided to scrap that (which I may revist at another point) and focus on the coaster and surrounding area as a whole. I began reaching out to many NL2 creators for input, creative ideas, and help. As of now nearly 10 creators from all over has helped/influenced this project. Creating this has been such a huge undergoing and I am grateful to have worked with many other talented creators in the community.
Back Story
Many years ago, Dr. Sam O. An, led an expedition to find lost treasure deep into the roots of Kilauea, an active volcano and as legend has it, is the home of the Fire god, Dabka. Legend has it that if disturbed Dabka will release his fiery might on all who has disturbed his eternal sleep. Dr. Sam O. An and his team of explorers journeyed deep into the base of the volcano unaware of this legend. Upon entering the base of Kilauea Dr. Sam and his team began excavating the volcano with a special vehicle called the, Terravator, and began digging through the volcano looking for the lost treasure of Dabka. While digging, Dr. Sam O. An and his team disturbed Dabka. Dabka awoke from his sleep and blasted his fiery might throughout the volcano killing everyone inside. But of course... this is just a legend right?
Now, 20 years later, Adventure Isle's Museum of Artifacts has opened at the base of Kilauea only to have on display, The Mask of Dabka. After touring the Museum of Artifacts, board the museum's "Terravator" vehicles to take an breathtaking journey through Kilauea only to find the Mask of Dabka in the your way. How will you escape?

Coaster
I simply love it. The layout is pretty much perfect and the track shaping is absolutely great. Whether you did it with FVD or not, I have to say that everything looks like it should be. From the thickness of the spine to the old-school offset between rail connector and support-beam everything is extremely well created and feels flawless. That also includes pacing of the ride and the brilliant capacity, the ride is constantly spilling out trains while the station waiting times are still reasonable. That's what Universal wants and overall with the coaster alone, you hit the nail on the top by making a Hulk inspired B&M sitdown.
Scenery/Theming
That, in particular, blew me away for the most part. I am probably a bit biased because I adore any Carribean/Polynesian/Hawaiian (they're all pretty close imo) setting. I loved how everything was laid out. Even though you can consider the placement of the paths rather simplistic it still gave gorgeous views on the coaster. Also might I add that you have talent at making terrain and especially texturing it. All the colors worked greatly together - the subtle mixture of grass, dirt and different colored rocks look phenomenal. In fact, there are only a few things I noticed didn't quite match up the way I expected: First of all in some areas near the entrance of the park you can here the song play twice at an offset which is really weird and unfortunate. And the only other thing I can think of right now is the indoor part of the queue. I liked how sometimes different elements of themed objects popped up next to the queue however there were sometimes sections as well as inside the station where I kinda missed some details. I can't point out in particular what it is but you could compare it to an unseasoned stew where you don't know what's missing. But hey, you're park is still outstanding and deserves definitely a 9.5
Kilauea is a highly realistic B&M sit-down looper, with a layout most comparable to that of Universal's Incredible Hulk. This twinned with some highly detailed theming leads to a very cohesive and immersive experience.
TRACKWORK AND COASTER
The trackwork on this ride was generally very strong. In terms of shaping, this ride follows B&M convention very well. The Immelmann in particular seemed spot on to B&M's style - the only slightly questionable thing on this aspect is the final corkscrew being maybe a little too pointy. The ride was paced nicely, with no real sections where the ride lost momentum - however, the ending perhaps wasn't quite as impactful as the first half of the layout. There were a couple of pumps or slightly odd moments, mainly on the entrance to the cobra roll and hitting the final brakes (these were pretty minor though).
THEMING
I was surprised by how thorough the theming on this ride was! The area is set very well, with most sightlines entirely covered with custom theming. The queueline was very long, maybe a touch too long for the advertised ten minute queueline? Jokes aside, the queueline helps to explain the story nicely in a quite understandable way. There's some really nice touches in the theming, including the mask of Dabka and the animated fire effect. Some of the texturing could have used bumpmaps to improve the effect, if I'm being picky.
ENVIRONMENT
The environment for this ride is pretty nice. There's some lovely foliage work going on, with some nice rockwork and terrain mixed in. A particular highlight for me would be some of the detailed rock formations you pass through. The skybox however seemed a little fake looking - I might have done some touch ups to it in Photoshop, or played around with environment settings a little - that said, this is once again a fairly minor complaint.
Overall, I'd give this ride about 9.5 out of 10 - solid effort with many great aspects, but a few tweaks could be made.
