The coaster appears quite wonky - that's both good and bad. First of all, Maurer is known to make unique rides with their X-Cars and I think the first inversion and the overall layout display that very nicely. The problem here is the execution of the track. Some parts look too stretched out like the first zero-g-roll and others again feel too crammed like the final brake-run. Almost the same also applies to the supports. For example, the airtime-hill, where actually is the least stress on the track, has the most supports. Then again despite their random placement, the supports themselves look pretty decent - For the majority, they're genuine and appropriate.
Also plus point for including a transfer track. These are often forgotten by people.
You said you haven't done anything in a year and this coaster is, in fact, a good re-introduction. It definitely has potential and it's just a thing of getting a feel for hand-building and also how much time you want to invest in your coasters.
