WOW! Great layout, surprise while riding first time (I wasn´t aware that it´s dueling and that there´s a second lift). The scenery is wonderful. To top that the music and sound is perfect. One of the best coasters I´ve downloaded. Thank you!
Rekka: The Defiant

In memory of Harbinger by The_Architect, a never-completed NL1 coaster that was the project that really inspired me to git gud in NL.
So the concept for this ride already started building up like 6 years back(!), after I first saw the aforementioned Harbinger which I thought was freaking incredible. Even as I made other rides I was constantly trying to make a B&M launch coaster that fit to my taste, and I think I FINALLY got it right this time... somewhat. Hahahaha.
So, well, here it is! Rekka: The Defiant is a self-dueling, 10-inversion B&M launch coaster set in a perfect world where B&M uses lap bars on their looping rides. Well, okay, so maybe calling it B&M style isn't fully accurate; it's more of "Expressionist B&M" I guess? I tried to translate the sheer intensity and speed of the older B&Ms and the airtime of the newer ones into simulator form, so it would likely be more intense than almost all other real-life B&M rides.
I tried to base the theming and video editing on a simple and slightly vague story, hahahaha. Basically you come upon the castle of an ancient kingdom, that was seemingly destroyed hundreds of years ago by a "rebellious force" that still resides in the area. This project also contains my first really serious attempt at creating custom 3D scenery for a project of mine. Yay! I learned a lot of things from making this project, and hopefully my next one (whenever that one gets released) will have even better theming. :D
And talking about my next project, I already have a concrete theme and story for it. If I'm able to pull it off right, I think you guys will love it!
Enjoy guys!

Wow, this thing is crazy. The trackwork is very smooth and comfortable, but it's still very forceful. Even though it's very forceful for a newer B&M with lap bars, it's not too unrealistic. There is a perfect balance between inversions, turns, and airtime and the elements come at a rapid, non-stop pace. The theming is what really makes this ride though. This allows for a very immersive coaster as well as plenty of amazing head-choppers. The dueling moments are a nice touch, especially the zero-g-roll going through the vertical loop. And it's good that you went with a mobius loop design where you get to do both sides in one ride. This has almost everything I'd want in a coaster, and you executed it almost perfectly. I can't wait to see more!
