AGRC-1

The Story

AGRC-1, or Anti-Gravity Roller Coaster - 1, is a secret government experiment hidden away in the foggy hills of Vermont to test the limits of the latest technological advancements in anti-gravity transportation. It's not fully understood how it is able to function, but it appears to use some sort of ultraviolet radioactivity, as seen here where purple light shines from the bottom of the vehicle as a byproduct of turning on for moments where it is active, and blue light during inactive sections of the test circuit where the wheels (which are there as a secondary precaution) are more active.

The Layout

Every element in this layout was designed to be unique in it's own way from almost anything else. In order they are:

Airtime hill launch; pretty straight forward (as seen on Copperhead Strike).

Cresting Wave Turn; like a normal wave turn, but over-banked to the point of almost being an inversion, and providing airtime/hangtime at the peak.

Overturn; an airtime hill that is entered and exited at a 90 degree angle, and reverse banked over the top to provide sustained and constant airtime.

Breakback; a cutback with an extra 90 degree rotation.

Ejector Roll; sort of like a 0g roll, but with a flat heartline at the top to provide perfect hangtime, and reverse banking entering and exiting the inversion, creating the perfect transition between airtime and hangtime, and a full rotation while experiencing -1g.

Intimidator 305 style switchback; self explanatory.

Maxx Force Roll; a low to the round, high speed 0g/heartline roll.

Wave Turnaround; a 180 degree upwards helix with a wave turn drop at the exit.

-2g straight airtime hill; the most generic element on the ride and also the strongest airtime moment.

Stengel Dive; also pretty generic.

-1.5g reverse banked airtime hill; reverse banking allows the hill to turn slightly during the airtime and allowing the layout to be more compact.

Inverted Brake Run; the main section of brakes on the ride is inverted to provide hangtime while slowing the train, they are heavily inclined, and fully magnetic meaning that it is not a block, and the train will never be allowed to stop there. It's followed by a small set of upwards facing brakes after straightening out.
