Cedar Point - (Blue Streak, Corkscrew, Magnum XL-200)
America's Roller Coast
Sandusky, Ohio
Enjoy your very own piece of the greatest amusement park in the world and a few of its coasters.
The park includes near exact replicas of:
- BLUE STREAK
Cedar Point's oldest coaster. Named for a local high school, this coaster is as good as it gets. A 78ft hill sends you through a classic out-and-back design. Enjoy a ride on Blue Streak as millions have since the first ride in 1964.
- CORKSCREW
This 1976 coaster is the oldest steel coaster in the park. At the time it was built, Corkscrew was the first coaster with 3 inversions and the first to send riders upsidedown over a walkway. The color scheme was chosen in honor of the USA bicentennial of that year.
- MAGNUM XL-200
The first hypercoaster. At the time it was built in 1989, Magnum was the tallest, fatsest and steepest coaster in the world and to this day remains among the most exciting. The 205 foot hill sends you out-and-back at 72 mph. After three tunnels and a pretzel turnaround, you'll see why many Cedar Point regulars consider Magnum the best coaster in the park.
Also included: POWER TOWER (or the closest that can be done in NL2) and the late, the great SPACE SPIRAL (1965-2012).
Check out my other Cedar Point park featuring:
MILLENIUM FORCE - The greatest coaster on the planet. The first to break 300ft.
and
TOP THRILL DRAGSTER - The first to break 400ft.
