NL2 Synchronized Lift Hill

Park Image

I've modified the Twisted Colossus to provide a Variable Speed Lift Hill to Race Trains. This is Similar to how it operates in Real Life. This script is designed to be used on other coasters, and I will soon add a tutorial on how to do so. Right now, you can look at the park included to see how it works.

I've changed to the lifts to have a top speed of 6 mph or 9.6 kph, and when it's waiting for the next train, it will go at 1 mph or 1.6 kph, so around the Beast at Kings Island level of slow lift. I also removed the 4th train from the No Limits Library as Twisted Colossus doesn't run with 4 trains and changed the final brake accordingly.

This is used as my script is an extension script of dg's Script Generator.

[Tutorial]

Make sure your dueling coasters are actually under the same coaster as they will share a script. Also you don't need to really code anything for this to work on other coasters. First, open dg's Script Generator and make you block script. It is important that for both lift hills in the script generator that when it's leaving the lift speed limit is set to 0. To set the lift leaving speed to 0 go to you lift block settings in the generator and where it says max speed set it to 0 which will allow the lift to go at full speed at the top no matter what. Once you have the competed script attach it your coaster, once this is done attach the racing lift script title: "VariableRacingLifthill." You'll need to go in the script and put in the names for the 2 lift hills and you can set the slower lift speed by default it's is 1 MPH which might be a bit too slow. The last set is to set up 4 track triggers, 2 on each lift. These triggers are: "Lift1Start, Lift1End, Lift2Start, Lift2End." Make sure that the triggers for Lift 1 are on Lift1 and vise-versa. I haven't tested what happens if you don't do this so to avoid any errors make sure the lift triggers are on the correct lift. Hopefully this works for your coaster so you can make impressive dueling coasters with lift hills.
