Welcome to "The Pit", an ex mining quarry turned Amusement Park/Museum Hybrid.
This project was the culmination of a contest called "3 Blind Mice", where 3 people are randomly assigned one of 3 roles (Track, Supports & Environment), and each person has a set time to anonymously work on the ride before it is passed onto the next role. I was assigned the Environment role once again, and this time I after looking over the ride I received I eventually landed on the quarry setting. Working with the verticality of the terrain was a challenge, and I wanted to give people reasons to want to explore and walk around the area to see the amazing coaster sightlines. To solve this concern, I made a full mini park around the coaster with fully fleshed out flat rides and set brand guidelines (i.e. a colour palette and set fonts) for cohesion. Most inspiration came from "Magna" in Sheffield, with some other cues taken from Lethal Company and Black Mesa. I highly recommend walking around the park with headphones on, as there is a multi track audio setup that changes the ambience depending where you are in the park. And for those with a PC brave enough, the entire park is also fully lit up for after dark operations!

This is amazingly detailed! I love the coaster station with the gates that close when you unlock the train. I also love the sound design for the coaster. Adding the peep pack would make this a 10/10. Seeing as it's completely optional whether users activate the peeps or not, it wouldn't take away from anyone's experience who might not appreciate the peep pack.
Looks pretty good, I really appreciate all the details that you put into this park. It really makes it look complete and finished. Glad I downloaded it.
