Gwisin day

Park Image

Gwisin is a Korean ghost.

A good friend challenged me to make an Arrow suspended coaster. So I made one quickly for fun and it's pretty a brutal ride lmao.

This is absolutely awesome. I mean seriously, the creativity with the terrain and arrangement of the elements is amazing. I like how the first half is pretty chill and then the closing sequence goes absolutely ham lmaooo. There's a few elements on this ride I would have never imagined using on a suspended coaster, but you made them all work (AND THE AIRTIME HILL!!? YESS). If this were real and running like how it would've been in the 90s, I'm confident it would be in my top 20. Only thing- and quite literally the only thing- I would change about it is getting a third train on there. Some of arrow's coasters were built with peculiar block systems that favored a stratospheric capacity figure over practicality. A train on the brakes before the second lift or something would be really cool.

I haven't ridden one of these for real since the long-departed "Big Bad Wolf" @ BGW in 1985, the second season it was opened, and I notice that you have quite a few downhills that mimic that famous one over the riverbank used by BBW that the current "Verbolten" also now utilizes (I think Verbolten also uses the old que as well, if I'm not mistaken)...Terraforming is top-notch and the ride is extremely smooth overall, but that often describes many Arrow-Huss Suspenders when they are new, as the action and reaction swing of the cars are exceedingly hard on the supports, track, carriage wheel assemblies, and braking systems over time, and the entire ride tends to wear out sooner than many other coasters, especially B&M inverteds... I also like the peeling paint and signs of age in the supports and track sections... Nice job here...
