a made up park to combat Kennywood to give Pittsburghers more thrills. Pittsburgh had another amusement park, West View Park (1906-1977). it closed due to declining revenue and they couldnt keep up with Kennywood

Another complete park in which I played the role of patron and rode on everything - all simulated "day into the night"... The launch coaster (Fury) has some cool loops and that first top hat is reminiscent of the one on "Xcelerator" @ KBF... The six seat Woodie offers some classic thrills, and there's always lots of height and speed on the Hornet, but I really liked the tall, "Skyscraper", although you might get a few complaints about hitting that one tree! I didn't see the Zipper move during my visit, so I assume that one is only there for show...Too bad, as I would've liked to see how that Chance classic got simulated... Nice job overall, and you're right - Pitt NEEDS a second park in the vicinity... I've been to Kennywood once, and it's OK, but I think I'd go the extra couple of hundred miles to Cedar Point...
