Flight

Disclaimer: This is in no way a critique of Pantheon which sits at this location at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. While I haven't ridden it yet, it seems to be a great ride and a gread addition to the park.

Ever since NL2 was released, I have had a pipe dream of making a recreation of all of Busch Gardens Williamsburg. However, I'm generally too slow and don't have enough time to really make that dream a reality. I had made a template with an accurate satellite overlay and terrain imported from actual terrain maps of the park. In 2017, I decided to use that to make my own addition to the park. After some debate on where/what to add, I settled on the location here (and felt vindicated when BGW decided to build Pantheon right where I thought would be a good location for their next rollercoater). I also was nostalgic for the run of really good B&M coasters that BGW had built so I settled on a B&M Wing Coaster. I worked off and on again on this project ever since and decided a few months ago to wrap it up in time for Roundup 400. Ultimately, I was trying to build something that lived up to the beauty of BGW which I, hopefully, did.
