G-LOC

Design Statement/Goal:[Intamin's take on producing an affordable, compact and exciting coaster.]
The G-LOC is a nod to the classic, neatly packaged Boomerang Models that have only recently fallen out of popularity. The goal with G-LOC is to have it set for a successful future by utilizing a similar punchy series of elements from the boomerang, combined with a momentum building launch and a complete circuit to improve throughput and add in a key coaster element (airtime!). 5.5G and -1.325G make for a scarily intense ride, seemingly bringing riders close to 'G-LOC,' hence the model name. The short duration allows for these intense g spikes and sustained areas to reach such high and low g, like Vekoma boomerangs have shown off in the past. The knotted cobra roll/loop combo adds a bit of near miss excitement, and the extra off axis rising airtime hill with a rapid bank swap exit [would be] one of the most intense and unique airtime sensations ever produced.
A gentle surging launch pushes the 7 car train back and forth until reaching 61mph and promptly sinking riders into their seats. After the onslaught of inverting and positive g's from the ride's front half, a brief moment of relief at the midpoint occurs, along with a recharging of speed, pushing the train back to 61mph. Out of a tunnel and at full speed yet again, the train charges through one of the most aggressive airtime moments produced, and is also aggressively off axis to make the moment truly special and out of control feeling. A few seconds of red-out airtime are what's necessary to turn the train around and corral it back into the station, slowing down on a pass and finally gently reversing to finish in order to allow riders the chance to catch their breath without any surprise.

Bestdani for the user friendly multi-launch script to make this work at all.
3creativeD for the programmable lights shown here and on my previous projects featuring some sort of strobing light or otherwise (solid white lights are vanilla big spots I've edited to appear more simulated and less CG).
egiptologo91 for the oddly shaped trees that may be visible here and in other projects I've done. They come in handy.
